Graduation Requirements

  1. Completion of the prescribed curriculum (see Program Requirements).  For any course in the MLE program to be considered as contributing towards graduating credits, a grade of B- or higher must be achieved.
  2. A minimum of 30 semester hours through ACTS/CanIL, of which at least 12 hours must be taken through ACTS in Biblical studies (i.e., Biblical exposition, Biblical languages, or Theological studies courses).
  3. A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7.
  4. For thesis option: a thesis of no less than 25,000 words, showing adequate research, balance and literary style, conforming to the format prescribed by the faculty. The student will also successfully pass an oral examination based upon the thesis.
  5. Give evidence of consistent Christian character, conduct and Biblical faith, and recommendation accordingly by the faculty.
A student intending to graduate at the close of the Spring semester must apply for graduation before October 31 of the final Fall semester.  For details and application form, see the TWU/ACTS site.
