Classes and Credit

  1. The academic year is divided into two semesters of approximately 15 weeks.
  2. Classes normally are scheduled from Monday to Friday, with classes normally taught in the mornings.
  3. All major examinations are conducted during the final week of the semester. An exam may be rescheduled only because of serious, unavoidable emergencies.
  4. One semester hour of credit is equal to one hour of classroom instruction per week per semester and assumes three hours of work outside the classroom.
