Language/Culture Learners track
(training duration: 1 summer)

Many short and long-term cross-cultural opportunities do not require a full degree in linguistics. This track provides a practical introduction to language and culture learning. Learn to hear and produce sounds of the world's languages and how to communicate in any language. This track is suitable for those planning careers in Teaching English as a Second Language or for those planning to work in a cross-cultural or multi-lingual situation anywhere in the world, but is tailored toward those not interested in a full linguistics program.
