Classes - Credit
- The academic year is divided into two semesters of approximately 15 weeks.
- Classes normally are scheduled from Monday to Friday, with classes normally taught in the mornings. Prerequisite language courses usually require attendance on campus twice per week.
- All major examinations are conducted during the final week of the semester. An exam may be rescheduled only because of serious, unavoidable emergencies and a fee is charged for rescheduling.
- A semester hour of credit is the unit of measurement for the valuation of courses. A typical course meets three hours per week, and assumes eight to ten hours of preparation.
