Vice President of Administration
Ken enjoys working with talented staff, faculty and students fulfilling the Great Commission through Bible Translation ministries. He is a generalist and enjoys working with people, technical things, music, and systems. His background in Engineering helps him see connections, and he loves puzzles of all kinds, particularly ones which involve people.
Ken worked in industry for 17 years as a manufacturing systems analyst, a performance analyst and then later as a Product Manager for a medical software system. After his time in industry, Ken and his wife Cheryl moved to Senegal, West Africa with their 3 children where they served with SIL Senegal (partner organization of CanIL and Wycliffe Bible Translators) in administration. SIL Senegal works in 16 local languages and, during that time, 3 New Testaments were dedicated, a pilot bilingual education system was started and numerous print and audio products were created and distributed.
