Ken is a member and lay pastor of Foothills Mennonite Church in Calgary. He is a board member of Partners Canada, a charitable organization devoted to assisting displaced people from Burma. He graduated with a PhD in chemical engineering and has retired after working 41 years with Chevron. He lived in five countries and had short terms in 12 others.
Ken is married to Donna Colleen and he has four adult sons. He has been a long time financial supporter of CanIL and a board member since 2008.
