Financial Aid

CanIL operates a generous awards program to help you avoid, reduce or eliminate debt. Awards are available for all degree programs, certificates, and individual linguistics courses at both Trinity Western University and Tyndale University.

You should complete a Financial Aid application for each semester in which you will be taking courses. Applications completed and submitted by the deadline will be reviewed shortly after and you will be notified by email of your award for that upcoming semester.

You must request permission from the Financial Aid Committee (financial-aid@canil.ca) to apply after the deadlines, however, there is no guarantee that late applications will be considered.

Please notify the Financial Aid Committee if any details change in your application, especially in regards to the number of courses being taken. If there are any changes, the award may be adjusted. The final award is placed in your school account after the add / drop deadline. Details regarding registration are confirmed before the award is given.
